NTSwincash event viewer
The NTSwincash event viewer has been designed as an information and early warning system for system administration and user helpdesk. This module reacts to events that can be previously defined by the administrators and notifies the specified person of the occurrence of such events. This notification can be optionally carried out as an SMS, e-mail, through Net Send and/or an appropriate message box.
Over 1,000 events are available. The spectrum ranges from notification of the IT administration upon failure of a peripheral device or an approaching memory shortage up to informing the branch management of occurring differences in cash register balances or lockout of a user account due to faulty logon attempts.
All occurring events are clearly listed in an event log. The administrator is thus always up-to-date and can take preventive action before a problem becomes critical (for instance, in case of a failed database backup) and/or immediately react to an occurring event (such as failure of a data connection).
The NTSwincash event viewer is often used by our customers in combination with the NTSwincash replicator system for monitoring interface transactions as well as checking data synchronisation between the central and local NTSwincash databases.
